The hotel is situated in a prime location, very close to everything. You can find another restaurant nearby and the hotel is right on the beach, offering great views of the waterfront. the rooms are spacious, modern and clean, with very comfortable beds and pillows. the bathroom is nice, and the staff is friendly, accommodating and easy-going. the breakfast is good and served by the sea.

The decor could use some updating.

Castro Apartments were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived after midnight (unexpectedly) to find that they had arranged for us even at that late hour. The accommodation was very clean and close to all of the amenities and beaches of Paralio Astros. The balcony offered a view of both the sea and the castle - beautiful! We'd definitely stay there again.

Nothing to fault.

I would recommend this hotel only for a short stay 2-3 nights max. The room was very comfortable with modern bathroom, unfortunately there is nowhere in this region that picks up an English tv channel so couldn't even watch cnn News! The breakfast was from a menu and was ordered - if asking for plain toast make sure you say 'bread toast' otherwise you will get a toasted cheese sandwich with either ham or turkey, omelettes were great. An enormous amount of cereal was put in a bowl rather than letting you judge the amount you need. We asked if we could eat outside but were told we had to eat in the bar, there weren't many people staying in this hotel at the time. Astros is a lovely bay and strolling is a must during the evening. There is a good variety of little shops in the street at the back of the hotel. Beach is short walk away or a short drive in the opposite direction.

The staff and the woman who appeared to be the Manager were helpful but the woman who seemed to be the owner was sour faced and most unwelcoming. Astros comes alive in the evening and just in front of this hotel are the kiddie rides and a very busy area, luckily when the window is closed the noise is minimal. Room information was non-existent and in Greek - where was the emergency exit??

Nothing everything was great.

We spent Christmas at a beach hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the location, which was close to all facilities and offered stunning views. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious with a nice bathroom. We especially enjoyed the al fresco breakfast, and the fact that the staff was approachable and helpful.

Our experience was not perfect. we found that the toilet flush lacked the right pressure and had an unpleasant smell at times.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a newly refurbished hotel by the beach. The rooms were smart and beautifully decorated, with a unique burnt orange color scheme that added a touch of warmth. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, thanks to the use of natural products from a leading Greek manufacturer. The hotel's location right on the beach was perfect for enjoying the clean and spacious coastline. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided in the rooms, including convenient sockets and a satisfying breakfast.

The hotel was ideally located close to the beach and main shopping areas. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas were provided by nearby bars. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. the double room was spacious and the shower had good water pressure.

The hotel lacked sufficient parking, especially during the high season. the balcony was small and unusable.
